Today is where your book begins, but it doesn't have to go unwritten!

Most of you have heard the song "Unwritten" by Natasha Beddingfield right?  It is an amazing song that talks about how each day is a brand new day to start again and do better.  The thing is, we can write our stories before they happen. They don't have to go unwritten.... Think about it!  If every day you are focusing on only the negative things in life, you will naturally attract negativity.  You can begin each day by writing in a journal.  First, write about all of the things you are grateful for.  Then, continue writing about how you want your day to be, and write about it as if it has already happened.  Write about how grateful you are for having a wonderful day that was filled with all that you wished and dreamed for the day to be.  Go further than that and even write about all that you wish for the most as if you already have those things.  There is a really great movie out there that I'd like to recommend to every one I know.  It's called "The Secret".  It is an amazing movie about life and being positive.  Check it out! you will be so glad that you did!  I found it on Netflix,  but there is also a web page: http://thesecret.tv/
"The greatest power in the universe is a feeling - a feeling harnessed by the greatest thinkers, discoverers, inventors, and saviors of the world.
You are just one feeling away from changing your life... just one feeling away from the life of your dreams.
This is The Power!"~Rhonda Byrne

Some quotes to think about. Happy Monday morning world!

Happy Monday Morning World!  The sun is shining (if it isn't shining outside, make it shine with your attitude!) and their are a million things to be thankful for!

1 - The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams.
Remember not to forget about the people that helped you achieve your dreams, and the ones who were always there for you.
2 - You ought to spend a little more time trying to make something of yourself & a little less time trying to impress people.
Being yourself is the most important and the bravest thing you can do.  If you aren't true to yourself, you will be a very lonely person.
3 - Sometimes you gotta quit thinking so much. If it feels right, it probably is. So just go with it.

4 - The more you are like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.
It's okay to be who you are :)

5 - Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

6 - The past can hurt. You can either run from it or learn from it.
Learn all that you can!

7 - Once in a lifetime, you meet a person who takes your breath away; not because you want them to, but because they're meant to.
They may not stay forever, so cherish the moments you are given.

8 - Memories are strange things. Some are so incredibly clear, probably because you've thought about them a thousand times.
But don't get stuck in the past...keep moving forward.

9 - Just because you're right for each other, doesn't mean you're right for each other right now.

10 - Once in a lifetime, right in the middle of an ordinary life, we get a chance at a fairytale.

11 - Let your guard down; take a fall you'll never know if you're loved unless you give it your all.

12 - Don't gain the world and lose your soul. Wisdom is better than silver and gold.
No amount of success is worth losing who you really are.  In the end, if you give up every one and every thing that has really been something precious to you then all you have left is you, and chances are if you have turned against your truest friends, you won't like your own company very much either.
14 - You can clutch the past so tightly to your chest that it leaves your arms too full to embrace the present.
Take a deep breath, and take it one day at a time...but keep moving!
15 - Nobody knows your limits better than you do, but every once in a while somebody will question all you know and they will push you for the better.

16 - If you're going to go through hell, I suggest you come back learning something.

17- The beautiful thing about memories is that they are yours; whether they are good, bad, or indifferent. They belong to you, and no matter where life takes you, your memories tie you to where you've been, and to where you are now.
I am thankful for every memory, and for all of the friends who have come and gone...I've learned a great deal from all of them.

18- Goodbye is like putting a period to a sentence. There will be no more words to be added after the period. Unless if you make another new sentence.

Sometimes, you just have no new sentences...it's okay, no matter how much it hurts to say goodbye, life will indefinitely go on.

19 - You know you really love some one when you can not hate them for breaking your heart.

Take another look!

What do you see when you look at you?  I'm always hearing girls talk about how they wish they could change something about their body, their face, even their fingers and toes.  Why do we worry so much about these things?  True beauty really does come from within.  Unfortunately our society has its quirky ideas of what "beauty" is.  We are bombarded with pictures of sickly thin models, dolls that misrepresent the image of a woman, and countless articles about losing weight, dressing right, and it goes on and on.  I think that we as woman are sometimes just too hard on ourselves.  What other people see in us is way different than what we see.  Take another look in the mirror and realize the true beauty that comes from within you.  It is only when we learn to love who we are from the inside out that we will begin to feel truly beautiful, and believing in and loving yourself doesn't cost anything but some extra time to reflect on your feelings for yourself.

Here's to all of you truly beautiful women out there!  It is a poem by the most awesome Maya Angelou.

 Phenomenal Woman- Maya Angelou
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
